As you know, the Board of Chiropractic Examiners met today for a permanent rule-making hearing for Rule 1.8 which addresses Electrotherapy Authority. The Board adopted the proposed rule with no amendments, and it will be reviewed by the Attorney General’s office. If accepted, the rule will take effect on 3/16/24.
The CCA knows there is still confusion with the laws and rules dealing with electrotherapy and will continue advocating for solutions. We will be sure to send updates to members in the coming months.
