PRE-PARTICIPATION SPORTS PHYSICALS

According to CHSAA’s (Colorado High School Activities Association) bylaws, a Doctor of Chiropractic may perform a pre-participation sports physical for the high school and middle school athlete.

The CCA offers courses to become certified to perform Pre-participation Sports Physical Examinations. This is a requirement for Chiropractors in the state of Colorado in order to clear an athlete for sports. Please check our Calendar of Events for future dates. Chiropractors must maintain an active Healthcare level provider CPR card in order to perform pre-participation physical evaluation (PPE) Physicals.
