We have received updated information regarding the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and the required Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Report.
Several businesses and organizations challenged the authority of Congress and the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to enact and enforce the CTA. However, on December 23rd, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit granted a stay of the injunction pending appeal.
