Opioid EpidemicResources and articles for Chiropractors
It’s no secret that there is an opioid problem in the United States right now. So much of a problem, that it has become an epidemic. In 2015, the CDC reported more than 33,000 deaths from opioid overdoses, and it’s continuing to rise. What we need is a solution, and we know that chiropractic should be a crucial part of that solution. How is that going to happen? By sharing what we know! So help us spread the word! Talk to your patients, your friends and family, strangers on the street, talk to anyone and everyone to help end this epidemic!
The solution is here! Chiropractors can offer safe, effective treatment prior to opioid usage. Ohio has recently mandated 60 days of conservative treatment, including chiropractic care, physical therapy, rest and other non-surgical interventions prior to surgery. View the article by clicking here.
